About Bobbie I have been creating stitching designs for over 40 years. I was an avid needlepointer until the late 1970s when I was enamoured by petitpoint after attending my first miniature show. Not a backward glance since then. Ultimately, in 1980, a business was launched specializing in 1/12th scale, 18th Century reproduction furniture with petitpoint worked on 40-60 count silk gauze. This business has evolved into a large offering of my designs in kit form; completed special orders and commission items in addition to furniture and paraphernalia. In 1987 I was made a Fellow of the International Guild of Miniature Artisans (IGMA) and have served on both the Artisan and Fellow Selection Committees. My work has been displayed in museums such as the Smithsonian in Washington, DC, Tiffany's Christmas windows in New York City and IGMA's first "Elements of Style" exhibit. My work, articles and charts have also appeared in books, magazines and newspapers both in this country and overseas. Some recent appearances include:
